Proffer began as experimentations with my modular synthesiser in 2019.

I wanted to merge the harmonic language of the classical world, and the spirituality of folk music practices while infusing psychedelic, cyclical aesthetics found in kraut-rock records from the 70’s.

I recorded the 16-piece string section remote during Sydney’s first lockdown in 2020 and finished the production of the record not long after. 

Visually this record is influenced by surrealist artists like Raymond Douillet & M.C Escher.
